Damn It – Breaking Curses & Discovering Subconscious Causes
Many clients come thinking they’ve been cursed — only to discover the real issue lies much deeper: the subconscious. What feels like a curse is often a pattern rooted in pain, past experiences and unprocessed emotions. By uncovering these subconscious causes, real transformation becomes possible.

Breaking Subconscious Causes: When “Curses” Are Just Patterns
Time and again, I hear from some of my clients that they believe they have been cursed by someone else. Often, however, it turns out that the cause is something entirely different. Most so-called curses have an origin that we could hardly imagine at first.
When a “Curse” Becomes Tangible in Daily Life
Once a young man came to see me—let’s call him Henry. Henry explained that he was convinced he had been cursed by his ex-girlfriend. For some time, nothing he tried to accomplish in his career seemed to work. Everything appeared to go wrong. In his distress, he sought out a medium, who told him that a woman had placed a curse on him. Based on the medium’s description, Henry assumed it must be his ex-girlfriend.
The medium recommended that he see me to resolve the issue. The first thing I noticed about Henry was that he was a very likeable person with a big heart. I asked him to tell me about his life. Henry explained that as a young man, he had run his own company, which he operated together with his girlfriend at the time. The company was doing extraordinarily well, and he described their relationship as very happy.
One day, however, his girlfriend broke up with him under unfortunate circumstances. Henry was completely overwhelmed by the separation. In his grief, he was unable to continue running the company, it was dissolved, and both went their separate ways.
Years later, Henry met a new partner with whom he was very happy. He decided to start his own business again—but this new venture simply would not take off. Everything he tried for himself failed, while professional work for others went smoothly.
Where Do These Blockages Come From?
After noticing this pattern, I asked him if he even believed in curses. Technically, he did not—but otherwise, his situation seemed inexplicable. I already had a hunch, but I wanted Henry to recognize the root cause for himself.
So we began the healing session. I stood behind Henry to let the energy flow into him. Henry entered a relaxed state, and his subconscious went into overdrive.
Breaking the “Curse” – Regaining Self-Determination
His subconscious showed him images of the old breakup—the pain from back then became very present again. As these memories surfaced, Henry was finally able to recognize the real cause of his problem.
It became clear to me that his subconscious had been trying to protect him. The breakup had been a shock for Henry, a trauma that had settled deeply in his subconscious. Professional success for himself, combined with a new romantic relationship, would signal the risk of another loss. Therefore, his subconscious unconsciously sabotaged his own projects, while he continued to succeed in work for others.
The ex-girlfriend did play a role—but not as a vindictive curser, rather as a symbol of the suppressed, wounded feelings that Henry’s subconscious had yet to process.
During the healing session, Henry became aware of all these connections and was able to find peace with his ex-girlfriend—something he had not managed to do at the time. Two weeks later, he happily reported that he had received a very promising project that would secure his finances for the next three years. He didn’t know exactly how the change had come about, but he was grateful.
His subconscious no longer needed to take “protective measures” to shield Henry from a supposed misfortune—and thus he could once again successfully pursue his own projects, just as before.
With all of my clients who came to me suspecting a curse, it later turned out that there were no curses at all—only acts of sabotage by an overprotective subconscious.
